Deep Foundation Work is 50% Complete

Right now, the construction team working on 1724 Kalorama Rd NW, the future site of Sitar Next Door, is halfway done with installing the micropiles along the perimeter walls and securing the foundation. The photo above shows the deep foundation work happening at the southwest corner. They expect to complete this phase of the project early in the new year, at which point they will pour concrete and begin to build up. Exciting progress! Utility work has also begun, now visible from the street, and soon the crew and city will begin installing a new water main.
